Guiding Your Disputes to Resolution
Experienced and Efficient
Daniela has been practicing international arbitration for over 15 years, first in a leading law firm in Geneva and, since 2024, as a sole practitioner in Lugano. She acts as counsel, arbitrator and secretary to the arbitral tribunal in a multitude of arbitration proceedings, presenting numerous combinations of the major arbitral seats, substantive laws, arbitration rules, and arbitral procedures.
Daniela’s dual experience as counsel and arbitrator informs her approach, combining expertise, efficiency and strategy. As an arbitrator, she focuses on effective case management, ensuring responsiveness and reliability. She is also mindful of the differences in the various legal traditions and expectations, valuing flexibility in adapting to them while maintaining her neutrality and fairness. Daniela believes that thorough preparations, deep understanding of the facts, and sensitivity to commercial considerations are crucial to delivering sound, well-reasoned decisions.
